Cruise Day 1 Sunday Ft. Lauderdale

Standing over the Bridge Wing is Cool!

Our cabin is on this top row - about 6 down from the front (where we are standing).

I just realized that the name Ft. Lauderdale implies a fort. Wonder if there was one, and where is it? Spanish?

Chuck and Brenda and Madeline visited Saturday night. Had a nice visit. Madeline is a sweet child, very happy.

Got up this morning and visited with Chuck awhile. Brenda and Madeline were still asleep.

Got to the airport with plenty of time to spare. Direct flight to Ft. Lauderdale and a quick cab ride to the cruise port. Unfortunately, there was quite a line to get checked in.

Lets see . . . spent time sitting aft and catching up with Boseman. Then after wondering around – had dinner and now I’m back in the room writing this.

Dinner was prime rib, shrimp cocktail and chilled pineapple soup. Nothing adventurous – just a nice good meal.

Travel days are tiring so I’m in the room at 9 PM and will be asleep soon.

Nuke is exploring and I’m sure will be one of the ones closing down the bars.
