I Voted

Primary Day in North Carolina

There were quite a number of us sitting in our cars this morning waiting for the polls to open at 0630.

Out here in the country, we go to work early so we have to vote early.

I was number 18 in line to vote at Precinct B, Deep River Township, Lee County, North Carolina.

The post and sign thing with the cable in the drive is the bell ringer to let the volunteers inside know if someone needs to 'curbside vote'.

When I was leaving, there was a steady stream of cars driving into the Deep River Elementary School parking lot with people coming to vote.
