Kinda Cool

I was doing some intense number crunching when the building started vibrating. First thought was, hmmm, that's a hell of a truck going by. Then, what the . . . this is an earthquake!

Window blinds moved a little and the flat computer monitor moved a little.

Almost immediately IM's started popping up on my screen and a moment later the phone started ringing.

I think the alarms must have gone off in the Dobbs building. People had evacuated Dobbs and were going back in by the time I took this photograph about 20 minutes later.

All in all, pretty cool.

While over in Japan - people are going: Phffffffttt

East Coast Americans react to earthquakes the way Southerners react to a quarter inch of snow on the road.
