I like to get to weekend games early. Sometimes, I'll go up to the Arena Club and have a sandwich and a beer. But usually I just put on the radio headphones and read the newspaper.
The Wolfpack Sports Network broadcasts the game inside the RBC Center on 87.7 FM. They also broadcast their live feed before they go 'on the air' which is pretty entertaining. They know the early arrivals are the types that bring radios so they joke around and offer commentary to / about us. LOL
The PEP band also gets there early and plays a lot of stuff that isn't played during the game, such as Big Band type numbers.
State couldn't hit the broadside of a barn. 24% in the first half. Still, we made a run at BC with about 10 minutes left.
That's what I like about a Sydney Lowe team - they adjust during the game and they never throw in the towel.
Food
Had lunch before the game at Crazy Fire in Cary. Ok but the best, so called, Mongolian restaurant in Raleigh is the Bali-Hai on Wake Forest Road. It's been there forever.
Photography
There's a photography exhibit in Pittsboro today. Later, I'll head over there to take a look. I really like good photography.
Miscellaneous
The roommate heads to Southport today to pick up his parent's 2 dogs. We are (correction - He is) going to doggy sit for a couple weeks while they visit their other kids in San Francisco.
I predict that puppy photos will appear on this blog in the near future.
