Raleigh drops the Giant Acorn to bring in the New Year. Yep - the Giant Acorn. The possibilities for bad jokes is endless. Hey - it's what we do here.
There is also another annual event that's becoming a tradition. The Hurricanes play a home game each year and then everybody stays and they have a New Year's Eve party and Count Down. It's always sold out. The Cary H's always go.
Been watching Bowl games all day. Went to Ruby Tuesday's for lunch to assault the salad bar. We ate in the bar so we could watch the games.
Looking forward to the Orange Bowl Tuesday evening with Wake Forest. Go Deacons!
Back to work tomorrow. Just looked at my work calendar online - yikes! It's already full.
